Enjoy Your Time in the Country

~ Barnyard Animals ~

Adults and children alike may enjoy our miniature ponies 'Lightning & Thunder'
and many bunnies that frequent the yards, along with three friendly farm cats and two smiling dogs.
Other farm animals include horses, pigs, a cow, guinea fowl, bantams, turkeys and laying hens.

You never know what's happening on the farm!
It could be the arrival of new spring babies, a farrier's visit, gathering eggs,
piglets escaping their pen, haying time ...

here is always an opportunity for fun and laughter, relaxation, quietness,
the warmth of sunshine, the peaceful rain, cross-country skiing on a crisp winter day
or sitting around the camp fire on a summer evening ...

~ Taking a Walk ~

We have numerous walking trails throughout the quarter
and we welcome you to tour the yard and farmyard at your leisure.

Yearning for a little bit of the Country ...
A Touch of Canadian, Down-Home Western Hospitality ...

Nature has a way of calming the soul ...

The drumming of a partridge, viewing the ducks and geese landing

or by chance catching a beaver busy at work,

while relaxing on one of the benches provided above their dam.

Ahh, the absolute solitude of nature ... watching baby animals in the spring.

The sound of a songbird, a rooster crow, the whinny of a horse in the pasture;

taking a walk along the numerous walking trails;

the rustle of the leaves, sighting a deer, moose or elk;

the scent of hayfields, a breeze causing a tree to sway & creak;

the allure of the flower gardens and the spring blossoms on fruit trees,

or simply a stop by the main house, perhaps it's bread making, canning or baking time.

Enjoy a chat or with some luck; something fresh from the oven.
